PA20 Association
of Highlands Ranch

Leadership

The Board members of PA20 are elected by the homeowners who reside in the sub-association. The positions are voluntary; board members receive no compensation.
Jim Bowlus, President
Jim Bowlus, President, President@PA20.org

Jim has been a member of the PA20 Board since 1994. Moving here from Kansas, Jim couldn't spell HOA much less anticipate becoming a board member. One of the best parts of the position is explaining to new residents what a PA20 is. When not involved in PA20 activities, Jim provides financial and estate planning services. Jim and his wife Marieta have enjoyed the opportunities that the area offers and are often found on local bike trails or climbing tall mountains.

Brice Bradley, Secretary
Brice Bradley, Secretary, Secretary@PA20.org

Brice has lived within the Highlands Ranch PA20 boundary since 2005. He graduated from Michigan State University in 1997 with a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture (BLA) degree and since then has practiced landscape architecture professionally in Texas and Colorado. Joining the board in April 2008, Brice wanted to offer his professional expertise in a way that would benefit the community in which he, his wife and two children reside.

He is a past-President of the chapter and currently serves as Member at Large. He is a Corporate Real Estate and Facilities Management professional and holds the designation of LEED Green Associate.

Joe Bear, Board Member, Board@PA20.org

Joe and his wife, Tricia, moved to Colorado from Zionsville, Indiana, in 2001 following married children and grandchildren. After graduating from Butler University and serving in the U.S. Air Force, Joe spent his career in the insurance business first serving as a Regional Territorial Representative for The Hartford Insurance Co. and then as partner/owner of an independent agency representing numerous companies. He became a Certified Insurance Counselor. Tricia and Joe love landscaping/gardening and maintaining a lovely yard. From their Highlands Ranch home they can see the PA20 property, and when several neighbors saw that there was an open spot on the Board they encouraged Joe to become a write-in candidate.

She enjoys road and off-road bicycling and is particularly fond of the Backcountry Wilderness where she serves as a trail volunteer. Janet works as a geologist in her “day” job.
